2015 Oscar Predictions for Costumes: So what do we think?

There are so many great options this year for costumes!  Period pieces are always a hit with the Academy, so we wouldn’t be surprised if Selma, The Theory of Everything or Grand Budapest Hotel were nominees.  Into the Woods had fantastic fantasy costumes, as did Maleficent– and interpreting such classic costumes in a modern way is a challenge.   We’d put our money on one of these movies to be nominated– and ultimately win.

Best of luck to all of the amazing costume designers at both the Costume Guild and Academy Awards!
