First and foremost we want to congratulate the Comeback Kid, Patrick Mahomes, and the entire KC team for their remarkable win this past Sunday. In celebration of Super Bowl, LIV MWS had a competition of our own. We painted a pair of women’s sneakers with the logos of the two teams and the winning side is now featured on our February Homepage as well as in our store. Here is how our resident artist, Becka Noel, painted our Kansas City Chiefs custom Sneakers!

“The ombre effects were achieved by layering and blending the colors smoothly and quickly atop one another. They each probably have 3-4 layers of paint. Once the ombre was finished and dry, I painted the silhouettes and moved onto the heels which were simply letters spelling “Miami” and “LIV.” When the shoes were dry, they each got a couple of coats of Angelus Matte Top Coat to seal and protect the final paint and voila, they were finished!”
