Shop Talk With Glamazon

Welcome to another episode of Shop Talk!!  This time we had the pleasure of doing some Shop Talk with the founder of Glamazon, Kim Baker.

We carry the entire line of products here at the store, and we can’t wait for you to come check it out! Kim was here for The Makeup Show and we held a special meet and greet event here at the store.  We were able to introduce her products to you guys and sit down for an interview.  The sangria was flowing and the conversation was elite!!

Kim started out as very young model and, fun fact, the first person to ever do her makeup was WAY BANDY!!  Incredible!  She spent 20 years in front of the camera, and then transitioned into plus size modeling.  This makes her a pioneer in the plus size world.  She got her start as a makeup artist working for Bobbi Brown, who at the time was just starting her own makeup line.  Can you believe it?!   Kim got her big break as a makeup artist on the press junket for Mission Impossible doing makeup for none other than Mr. Tom Cruise and Mr. Ving Rahmes.  Such an illustrious career and so much experience led her to create her own makeup line.  Enter: Glamazon!

Let’s get into these products!!  Her second skin foundations come in an easy to use stick and have a range that is suitable for all skin tones and finish with a luminous dewy glow.  We all love a healthy glow in our skin.  The concealers are hydrating to the under eye and come with a wand for ease of use. She has gorgeously pigmented and easily blendable eye shadows.  Glamazon’s brow products not only fill in the brow, they also help stimulate hair growth and conceal gray hair!!  Talk about multipurpose.  Whew!  There’s also mascara and eyeliner; lippies both gloss and stick and some stunning semi translucent pressed powders that you can use to set your foundation or use alone to even out your skin tone.
