This Saturday, June 15th, The Tribeca Film Festival/De Niro Con will present “Dressing De Niro”, an exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpse at De Niro’s character preparation and the art of crafting characters through costume. The event will take place at 12pm at The Indeed Rising Voices Lounge, located at 50 Varick Street, NY 10013. You are free to attend this talk, but registration is required.
Our friends and colleagues costume designer Aude Bronson-Howard, dresser Monica Ruiz Ziegler, and Makeup Artist Carla White will share their incredible stories and insights from years of collaboration with the legendary actor.
Aude Bronson-Howard has been a prominent costume designer in New York for over 40 years, working with Robert De Niro since 1985, starting as costume designer for “Angel Heart.”
Monica Ruiz Ziegler has been in the film industry since 1997. She has risen from a production assistant to a set costumer, ultimately becoming Robert De Niro’s personal dresser for the past 14 years.
Carla White started working as a union make-up artist in 1978. She began working with De Niro as a personal in 2008 on “What Just Happened“.
Together, Aude, Monica, and Carla have teamed up on numerous projects with Robert De Niro. “Dressing De Niro” promises to be a fascinating and entertaining conversation you won’t want to miss!
