The Byronesque Pop-Up Boutique

MWS is proud to sponsor the Byronesque.com/OFFLINE Vintage Fashion Exhibition and pop-up shop.

To celebrate their one year anniversary, the online vintage fashion retailer is bringing their clothes offline,  showcasing them in a pop-up exhibition hosted by Michèle Lamy (wife of Rick Owens), Mazdack Rassi, and Glenn O’Brien. This exhibition is a multimedia retrospective of Vintage Fashion and its influence in contemporary culture. The authentic vintage items from  John Galliano, Comme des Garçons, Jean Paul Gaultier, Maison Martin Margiela, Issey Miyake, and Vivienne Westwood fill the abandoned wing of of the James A. Farely Post Office here in NYC on 8th Ave. and 31st Street, which serves as the gallery. Typographer and graphic designer Craig Ward has designed a floor to ceiling collage, dramatically setting the background for the exhibit.  There is an accompanying boutique from which visitors can actually shop the vintage clothes. This exhibition is l worth a visit if you are in the city.

The event is open to the public 11am-8pm this Thursday December 12th thru Sunday December 15th. MWS is honored to support this event, and the entire NYC fashion community.
