One of my favorite crafting products is Deco Art and Crystal Art. Worbla’s Deco Art is a polyester pellet plastic which can be used for sculpting, molding, and building dimension. They are white pellets that turn clear when heated. It creates a material like plastic putty and is a flexible alternative to resin casting. You can shape Deco art by hand, with tools, or use it to build upon.

Crystal Art is a moldable, sculptable translucent plastic that can be used to create dimensional effects. Try this amazing product to create gems, water effects, light diffusing and so much more. Crystal Art also offers an alternative for those who can’t resin cast due to time, space, or health.

Have you ever heard about or tried Fosshape? Fosshape is a unique replacement for buckram fabric. Fosshape is heat-activated and unlike Buckram, it doesn’t fray, it is water-resistant and it doesn’t need a separate stiffener to give it shape. You can use Fosshape for reinforcement or stiffness on your projects. But it is also great for millinery, puppets, masks, and props. It can be dyed, painted, or layered with other fabrics. You can also use it instead of paper mache and sculpted foam.

Fosshape comes in 3 types. Fosshape 300 is white and is a lighter, thinner version. It is good for intricate designs. Fosshape 600 is also white and is thicker and heavier, designed for more rigorous use. Fosshape 400 is black is the same thickness as 600. The black color makes it a great option for top hats.

If you’ve never worked with EVA Foam or you are looking for one that is easier to work with, we’ve got it! Lumin’s Workshop EVA Form-Lite is the most formable foam. Form Lite is half the weight of other EVA foams of similar hardness. Using heat it forms very easily for curves and armor.  Form Lite is beginner-friendly and cuts and sands like a dream!
