Fashion Fix Friday: Sweat Stains
Author: Cheryl Kilbourne-Kimpton
Sweat stains are the worst. There is nothing more gross than pulling out your favorite baseball cap and seeing a sweat stain, or your favorite shirt. It doesn’t always come out in the wash — so how do you fix it? You prevent it, of course.

Fashion Fix Friday: Prevent Sweat Stains
Preventing sweat stains is as easy as a strip! We love White Collar Grime for collars, hat bands, and any place where you get some concentrated sweat stains. It’s super easy to use: just figure out where your sweat stain will be, cut the White Collar Grime strip to the correct length, peel off the backing and apply. That’s it! Then, remove White Collar Grime once it’s dirty or has come loose — it should last for several wearings. You can then use another strip to keep your hat or collar clean. Simple!
For underarms, don’t forget our trusty dress shields! Simply pin, sew or stick dress shields into your shirt, blouse or dress and forget it — no one will know you’re wearing it, and no one will see you sweat! These are particularly great for dry clean only or delicate material — who wants to dry clean after every wearing? No one.

So you have a deodorant stain. You know, that ugly yellow stain in the armpit of your favorite white T-shirt. What do you do? Don’t bleach — bleach sets the stain. Good Housekeeping recommends Deo-Go and Raise. Both products remove deodorant & anitperspirant stains in the armpit area of your clothes — even old ones– without damaging the fabric. Raise can also be used for ring-around-the-collar. Simply pre-treat with Raise or Deo-Go and wash as usual — your stains will be gone. Check out the before and after pics below.

If your problem is deodorant residue then Braza Wipe-Out is your answer. This product removes nasty deodorant residue from your clothing by just brushing it away. Just wait until the deodorant residue is dry before brushing and you’re good to go. Carry one in your purse to remove pet hair, dried food particles, dandruff, lint (from a white table cloth or napkin) and don’t leave home without one!
