Gourmet Kickz, whose owner goes by Chef, is a restaurant-themed custom shoe site.  Chef lives, eats and breathes custom shoes, and does everything from repaints to custom foam sculpts and everything in between.  His work is amazing (check out his site for images of his custom shoe creations!). He’s a cancer survivor who realized he wouldn’t be happy doing anything else except customizing shoes, and he does it very well.  He also innovates.

Chef noticed that his shoes often got creased at the toe or collapsed, so using pieces of plastic he found around his house, he fashioned a device that helps keep your shoes from creasing.  Figuring that others had the same issue, he created a flat piece of plastic that can be customized by you to fit your shoes perfectly, and keep them looking new and fresh for much longer.  The DeCreaseR was born.

Using The DeCreaseR is easy. Simply slip it into the shoe and make sure the arms are in place above the toe box and you’re finished.  Here’s a video from Chef that shows you how it works:
