Jacquard Products: 3 New Arrivals

One of the leading brands for textile art supplies, Jacquard is perhaps best known for their fabric dyes and paints. Indeed, they manufacture an astounding variety of products, all of which are guaranteed to be of high quality.

We here at MWS are very excited to announce that we’re adding 3 new products from their line to our inventory. Keep reading to learn everything you need to know about these superb new additions.

Jacquard Dye-Na-Flow

First up – Jacquard Dye-Na-Flow fabric paint. Dye-Na-Flow is the most sought-after paint among silk-painting enthusiasts. It works perfectly on untreated fabric and it acts like dye without all the work dying requires. Dye-Na-Flow is easy to use, non-toxic and  extremely versatile. It can be used in everything from wood staining to Serti style silk painting. You can even use it to experiment with watercolor techniques or create a variety of effects (by adding multiple layers).

Jacquard Airbrush Color

Our second new addition is Jacquard Airbrush Color paints, which were developed and refined specifically for airbrush applications. They’re water based, non-toxic and available in 48 intermixable colors, making the possibilities endless!

Importantly, they airbrush like a dream! And they’re available in six varieties of paint – transparent, opaque, metallic, fluorescent, bright and iridescent. Moreover, they mix beautifully with Lumiere, Neopaque, and Dye-Na-Flow paints. These paints can be used on natural and synthetic fibers, leather, wood, clay, paper and metal. So, whether you’re a professional artist or simply looking to customize your sneakers, electric guitars, sculptures, figurines or even a car or bike, these paints will certainly cover all your needs.

Jacquard Textile Color

Lastly, we’re excited to add Jacquard Textile Color, the industry standard for professional-quality fabric paints. These amazing paints manage to leave your fabric feeling soft yet hold up well to repeated washing.

These paints are really simple to use as they’re applied straight from the bottle, resulting in a color that is both intense and semi-opaque.
For different results, here are some expert tips:

– Add up to 25% water to increase transparency and reduce viscosity.
– Mix with Colorless Extender (#100) to achieve any degree of transparency.
– Mix with White (#123) for pastels.
