Recreate a Beachy Look with these 5 Products

Do you want a beach look, but you’re nowhere near the beach?  At MWS Pro Beauty, we have five products that will make you look like you just got back from St. Tropez– but really, you were just in your bathroom in your studio in Queens.

Beachy Look: Kevyn Aucoin Tropical Days and Tropical Nights

Kevyn Aucoin’s Tropical Days and Tropical Nights are two perfect bronzers. One is lighter, one is darker (thus their names) and they each have a gradient of color (from dark to light) to create the most beautiful, natural, three-dimensional color.  They have a satin finish, but photograph like a matte bronzer — while still looking natural in person.  Tropical Nights is also excellent for contouring!

Beachy Look: Kevyn Aucoin Candelight Highlight

This is one of our favorite products!  Candlelight is one of Kevyn Aucoin’s signature products– it gives just enough shimmer to act as a highlighter to the brow, the cupid’s bow, or inner eye.  You can also smooth it on collarbones for a little extra drama.

Beachy Look: Becca Eye Tint

Beach eyes aren’t harsh and smoky — they’re lightly tinted with a little glow. That’s what you get with Becca Eye Tint: try Baroque all over with a bit of Vicuna for highlight.

Beachy Look: Roxanne Rizzo Bronze Glow Tanning Spray

You know getting a tan isn’t good for you, right?  Skip the sun and spray on Roxanne Rizzo’s Bronze Glow tanning spray.  It’ll give you a gorgeous, natural glow without harming your skin. You can use one layer for a glow, two layers to cover up rosacea or melasma, or three for for the perfect bronze complexion that will last for 3-4 days.

Beachy Look: Becca Topaz Shimmering Skin Perfector

Mix Becca’s Topaz Shimmering Skin Perfector with foundation to add a little glow — or to adjust your foundation for the color you’ve gotten when you were actually on the beach (or, you know, from walking to work this summer).  Or, you can wear it alone for a gorgeous shimmery glow.
