We could not have been prouder of all our Hair, Makeup, Costume and Wardrobe Pros. To all the nominees and even the crews on shows not nominated this year, we at Manhattan Wardrobe Supply know and appreciate exactly how hard you work and the amazing creative vision you execute on set. 2014 Creative Arts Emmy Winners: Makeup

Outstanding Makeup For A Single-Camera Series (Non-Prosthetic) True Detective

We loved the way the makeup on True Detective kept the Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey weathered and authentic, but still gorgeous.

Outstanding Makeup For A Miniseries Or A Movie (Non-Prosthetic) The Normal Heart

The makeup artists on The Normal Heart had such a challenging job showing actors on both sides of the coin: devastatingly young and handsome, and wracked with Kaposi Sarcoma, sickness, sleeplessness and stress.

Outstanding Makeup For A Multi-Camera Series Or Special (Non-Prosthetic) Saturday Night Live

Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup For A Series, Miniseries, Movie Or A Special Game of Thrones

What do you need to say about Game of Thrones’ dedicated team, ensuring each character has a definitive and consistent style.

2014 Creative Arts Emmy Winners: Hair

Outstanding Hairstyling For A Single-Camera Series
Downton Abbey

Downton Abbey simply couldn’t be the same show without these breathtaking updos, featured in every episode on their expansive cast. They make us (and the other viewers) swoon.

Who can forget Anna Kendrick as Ariel from the Little Mermaid, or the cast’s viral video for “Dongs All Over the World”?  So. Much. Hair.

Outstanding Hairstyling For A Miniseries Or A Movie
American Horror Story: Coven

This seasons mostly female cast featured hair that cannot be forgotten. Each character had an iconic style that made us forget these actresses had ever played any other character before.  Collectively, they defined the mood for the entire run of the show.

2014 Creative Arts Emmy Winners: Costumes

Outstanding Costumes For A Series
Game Of Thrones

Outstanding Costumes For A Miniseries, Movie or Special
American Horror Story: Coven

OUTSTANDING COSTUMES FOR A VARIETY PROGRAM OR A SPECIAL

Saturday Night Live, Jimmy Fallon

So You Think You Can Dance
Episode 1008

We’ve sung the praises of the costume department for So You Think You Can Dance before. The sheer number of diverse looks each week is mind boggling, before you even consider the challenges of designing for dancers and live TV.

Congratulations to all of the winners, and don’t forget that you can shop where the pros do: Manhattan Wardrobe Supply! If you’re one of the winners, we want to see those statues!
