Fashion Fix Friday: Saggy Boots
Author: Cheryl Kilbourne-Kimpton
It’s boots and tights season! Or boots and jeans. However you wear them, boots are in. What’s not in? Saggy boots that make you look more cankle-y than awesome. How to fix it? We have a few solutions.

Fashion Fix Friday: Saggy Boots Solutions
I’m already having this problem. I have some great Frye boots that I love to wear with everything. Unfortunately (well, really, fortunately!) my calves have gotten a little smaller, which has made my boots’ fit become a bit looser. Thus, saggy boots. My tighter boots don’t have this problem, but the ones that I tend to tuck jeans into do. So how to fix the saggy boots? Grab your Shoe Done It kit (you have one, right?) and pull out your Boot Stay liners. What do they do? They’re sort of like mini-blinds (stay with me, now) covered in cotton, and you stick them in your boot to prop them up and get rid of the sag! They’re reusable, comfortable, and make your boots look so much better. If you have very tall boots, or over-the-knee boots, you may need two.
Fashion Fix Friday: Saggy Boot Storage
Sometimes, saggy boots have less to do with your calves and more to do with how you store them. Boots can be difficult to store; mine generally live in a corner of my closet. What you need to do is make sure they are upright. Sure, you can use rolled-up newspapers, but the print could damage the color of your boot. Instead, try Boot Trees. They stick in your boot and keep your boots upright and stretched so they don’t sag on their own. Plus, they’re inexpensive — so you can get a set for all of your great boots.

Don’t stick with saggy boots — make them stand up!
